How do I choose the correct awning length?
Measure the available RV wall length, existing awning, bracket locations and door clearance. Confirm adequate structural backing. Do not select the size only by RV model name.
Can the canopy angle be adjusted?
Yes. The supplied manual shows pitch adjustment at the left and right arm bases. Small adjustments can create a low side for rainwater drainage.
Can I leave the awning open in rain or wind?
For light rain, create a clear low side so water runs off and never pools on the fabric. Retract the awning during strong wind, severe weather, before travel or whenever the RV is unattended.
Does installation require professional help?
Professional installation is recommended. The mounting brackets must attach to adequate structure, align on one plane, seal against water intrusion and connect to the correct 12V supply.
